The Blue Knights are a motorcycle club made up of police officers, and the group has decided to host a Polar Bear Ride to raise money for Concerns for Police Survivors (COPS), an organization providing the resources needed to families coping with the loss of officers killed in the line of duty. The Polar Bear Ride was Saturday, Jan. 28. Riders took off at 9:30 a.m. from Rotary Park on Sunset Drive in Guntersville. Everyone was welcomed to cruise with the men in blue whether you owned a motorcycle or not. This event was escorted by Alabama State Troopers and the Guntersville Police Department.
